Wyatt's Bed & Biscuit is a state of the art boarding and grooming facility located in a serene country setting just minutes from downtown Aiken!

We have 42 indoor/outdoor runs 2 of which are large double runs for family pets to stay together in, plus a nearly one acre fenced play yard for daily exercise and play time. Check out our gallery of photos.

Owned by Lori and Gene Jenkins, Wyatt’s Bed & Biscuit is much more than just a business.

A lifelong animal lover with a strong penchant for dogs in particular, Lori has dreamed of owning and operating a kennel in Aiken since relocating to the area 5 years ago.

Lori is a professional pet stylist who trained at the Southern Institute of Pet Grooming, has extensive experience working with a wide variety of animals. A professional breeder of Boston Terriers for over 17 years, and French Bulldogs for the past 3 years, Lori has also worked with both Thoroughbred and Standardbred horses in every capacity for some of this country's top trainers.

Having previously owned and then sold a similar but smaller kennel in Greenwood, SC, Lori knew exactly what it would take to make her dream come true.

After purchasing her property a few years ago and learning that it was zoned for rural development, Lori mentioned the idea of building a kennel on their property to her husband Gene, a Wackenhut Services employee at SRS. Knowing how committed his wife was to animals, Gene thought it was a great idea and immediately began to sketch the basic layout. And now, less than a year later, both the dream and the sketch have turned into a reality!
